The wise say that one receives in portion, what they are willing to expend in portion. Thankfully, when it comes to WS, most long-term stay residents, mind you that this is an extended stay apartment hotel, are receiving more bang and care for their dollar than other extended stay hotels. Gavin(Hotel’s GM), Delaney(Hotel’s AGM) and the on-site maintenance go to “Ty” are excellently considerate and welcoming. Cleaning staff genuinely care about the condition of the rooms, and are always pleasantly kind. The hotel’s security is fairly high, there’s multiple cameras down each hallway and if you don’t have a key to the hotel you are not capable of gaining entry other than manipulating a resident by abusing their kindness when they hold the door for others. The staff is always willing to step up, and generally go way beyond the service expected from an inexpensive hotel. All the best comes from the dollars spent with The WoodSpring in Lenexa. Make sure you get a room with an operating water closet exhaust fan, the building has been around for decades so it has its drawbacks like mold in the non-operating water closet exhausts. However, they do make sure that if you are allergic to black mold, they will move you to a different room upon request. Renovation is required before ‘27 and rates are sworn by management to be grandfathered. Come stay at The WoodSprings. It’s worth the money spent when rates are favorable.

The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and in working order and set up great for an extended work stay. Price was in line with what you would expect considering the area.

The employees of this establishment are an A+, the lady's at the front desk to the housekeeping team, wonderful personalities very friendly, always professional. Clean, plenty of parking and parking lights. I am out of town working an this establishment has become a second home.

Great Stay!! Great Price!!!Great Staff!!! Overall it was a rather comfy accommodating stay. Rooms were a little smaller than expected but it had several areas of storage and shelves to make up for it. The bed in our room was only a double but we made it work considering… We didn’t experience no tv or WiFi issues which I was a little concerned about because I definitely take in consideration the reviews I read but in this case our options were limited in the area so I took the chance and I’m glad I did!! The staff Isn’t @ the desk after a certain hour however It didn’t affect us in anyway so for that I’m thankful. The full size fridge and kitchen sing were definitely a plus.

Delaney was incredibly helpful, kind, quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond and made it look effortless. Best hospitality worker I've ever seen. Thank you Delaney, you deserve a raise.

Both of the girls at the front desk very nice, always willing to help and will answer any time of night to assist with any issues which is a big factor as to why my service rating is 5 star. Delaney is on point when it comes to getting you taken care of, had a deal go out on my sink faucet and she has maintenance in my room in 5 min. Maintenance Man was very quick with diagnosing the problem, gathered his tools and changed the faucet within 20 min of me calling the front desk. Very good team of staff members at this extended stay. Location is very close to everything you could need, very large area outside where the grass or kept up well for pets and family activities. I haven’t come up with a single complaint other than the WiFi lol.
